Hey People what is the actual resolution for the issue. 
I am also facing the same issue and is not intermittent it is all the attempts.
one thing i had noticed, under agents one file named appd.properties is created which should contain FQDN/IP of the Application Director Server, which is actually missing.
Any idea if this is the cause for the issue?
